Next week ARES PRISM will be at the AACE Alaska Western Workshop. While at the conference, we will be presenting on the topic of "Cognitive Business Intelligence". Here is a little sneak peek into the presentation!

Computers of the Past are Giving Way to Cognitive Systems.   They are designed to take data in all forms and understand it, learn from it and reason through it.   In a sense – think!   When computers think with you – you can out-think challenges.   Cognitive Business Intelligence is helping businesses out think the limits of what is possible.

What is Cognition?

The mental action or process of acquiring knowledge and understanding through thought, experience, and the senses.

What is Business Intelligence?

A technology-driven process for analyzing data and presenting actionable information.Business Intelligence is important because it helps corporate executives , business managers, and other end users make more informed business decisions.

Cognition + Business Intelligence = Cognitive Business Intelligence!

Cognitive Business Intelligence Enables Organizations To:

  • Collect data from internal systems & external sources
  • Prepare data for analysis
  • Create smart-thinking data
  • Develop & run queries against the data
  • Create reports
  • Create dashboards and date visualizations to make the analytical results available to corporate decision makers as well as operational workers.

Companies like ARES PRISM can help you to optimize the many features of Cognitive Business Intelligence especially through our Executive Dashboard offerings.  We are excited to share our knowledge on this topic at the upcoming AACE Alaska Western Workshop. Hopefully we'll see you there!
